#dffoo #finalfantasy #operaomnia I tried skipping two rounds of shields by bringing boss C from 90-59% in one hit. However, what happens then is that both the 89% AND 59% shields will queue. You CANNOT bypass the first two rounds of shields at 89% and 59%. Anyway it's a bit messy this time at 8T. I may redo this with another approach if I have time. But I also want to start working on D3D. Setup is IMPORTANT. Please see below very carefully Setup Party 1 Raines 5/5 UW FR30 (Seymour LDCA) Use a dispelling call such as Paine or Balthier if you don't have Seymour Twins 5/5 UW FR30 (Aerith LDCA) Aerith is key for her Seal Evil Debuff. If you don't have Aerith you can try to stack Debuff calls such as Faris (which also dispels btw) and land 8 framed debuffs on the bosses. Lunafreya NO UW FR30 (Jack FFT0 LDCA) If you don't have Jack use some sort of DEF down call such as Fran or Shantoto Party 2 Garnet 5/5 UW FR30 (Prishe LDCA) No alternative for Prishe. If you don't have it just skip a call ability here or use a DEF down call REMOVE All Speed passives from Garnet. These are passives with Speed in them. Also remove Aquamarine Waterglint Lite and Peridot Thunderflash Lite and Alexandria's Protection Penelo NO UW FR30 (Rydia LDCA) Rydia LDCA is a GODSEND. It lands True imperil which overwrites all the elemental absorption when the bosses are shielded. I HIGHLY recommend to bring this call. If you don't have Rydia LDCA, you need to ensure Twins is in the field the entire time while the 59% shields are up. REMOVE BRV SPEED UP PASSIVE on Penelo Quina 5/5 UW FR30 (No LDCA) You won't be able to fit another call before boss hits 100% FR gauge. Edit: it's better to also remove Speed passives on Quina Bahamut summon Timestamp 0:00 Battle Start 3:14 Lunafreya BT Mode 6:05 Penelo Force Time 7:11 Raines Nuking boss C from 91-68% 7:52 89% shields 9:59 59% shields 11:36 Summon and clean up

1 Party 1 FR Phase Run Party 1: Rubicante FRBT+3/3 (Seymour LD), Quina FRBT+3/3 (Raines LD), Aerith FRBT+3/3 (Setzer LD) Party 2: Anyone that you like (Put in Balthier or Twins for the tickets) Summon: Chocobo FR Phase: Rubicante FR Echo: Rubicante (1), Aerith (2), Quina (2) In case you wonder why this trio is hyped in JP. This run will show the reason. All members have their speed passive removed. Strategy: Charging Phase 1) Make use of Seymour LDCA to dispel buffs. 2) Rubicante uses AA and his BT finisher. Quina uses its EX and BT finisher. Use Raines base call (pull Aerith) to boost the summon charge rate. Aerith uses S2 primarily until the summon is up. 3) Summon Chocobo, Aerith spam S1 until the gauge is max. Use her EX to end her turn on the last turn of the summon. FR Counter Phase (Do not refresh Rubi's LD buff) 1) Rubicante activate his FR 2) Aeriith uses 2 FR Echo and her LD. 3) Quina uses its LD (the traps will provide additional off-turn damage on top of Rubicante counters) 4) Use EX or Aerith's BRV to shave shields. Once Harden Phase at 89% HP threshold is over, start to chain your Echoes 5) Aerith uses her BT finisher at the last few turns of the Force Time 6) Once Rubi's buff has lapsed & Quina's BT aura is down to the last turn, have Quina go into its BT phase. Survival Phase 7) The boss will activate its Force Time once Quina comes out of the BT Phase. But with Aerith BT aura and Rubicante party-wide damage mitigation, Quina traps brave control, you should be able to survive the phase. Once the BRV shields and boss force time end, you should be able to finish the fight. Make use of Setzer Freeze Joker to control the BRV. Kam'lanaut seems all the rage these days, but if you are saving resources for favourites down the track, don't forget that you can still harness our very first FR weapon for a respectable amount of damage, enough to annihilate this quest in one BT phase. Best of all, you don't even need Kam'lanaut built to pull this off! Remove all speed passives, wait for rubicante LD buff to ran out and wait for the boss FR to finish before you active your rubicante FR... And of course hope for RNG turn order is in your side.

All I did was record in game footage, cut it up and reorganized it to match the song. It's not just copy/pasted. So I need to do a test drive run first before I do a carry run for Twins or Balthier Calls: Seymour LD - For dispel the first chip buff & Aerith seal evil debuff to prevent them from buffing anymore Raijin LD - To avoid any HP damage (I am a very cautious guy you see...) If you want to avoid problems to shave the shield, you can just bring a whole party of non-elemental units. To deal with BRV shields, the best way to boost your BRV damage. I have made use of Prishe LD (for double BRV hits) on Cissnei (her Biesege follow-up will guarantee to break the shields on all enemies) and Jack LDCA to boost BRV damage up for the party. Force levels are important in racing boss force gauge before it gets activated. I have made use of Aerith BURST to charge my gauge and fortunately able to get my Force gauge ready where the boss force gauge is at 99.5% (phew) Don't bother to try to skip the activation of the shield because once the boss activates the shields, they will activate them back to back, which explains why some of the Ultquina runs take so long to complete. Setup: 8 Debuffs: 1. Keiss LDCA to boost BRV refund after launch (may not be needed). 2. Seymour LDCA to boost DMG (can be subbed with Kurasame LDCA) 3. Raijin LDCA to prevent the FT attack of the boss from applying debuffs to us (can be subbed with a cleanse call or Reno LDCA) 4. Selphie's LD debuffs for constant launches 5. Laguna's 3 QS framed debuffs + BT debuffs Important Buff/CA: 1. Rydia LDCA to give stacked on party so they can fulfilled 1/2 Squall's FR condition (cannot be replaced) 2. Lunafreya LDCA to give Squall and Quistis more turn to boost HP DMG Bonus. - Timings are crucial here. I make sure Rinoa moved immediately only when the left boss activated its red aura, by doing this, I can ensure no wasted turn and Rinoa's low HP DMG Bonus increment from being Magical unit won't be a hurdle. Also make sure Quistis takes her turn while the blue aura is active so she can dispel as soon as possible. And for the last aura threshold, I just nuke the left boss before the force time ended. - Almost one Force Time this, just need one more FR echo and I would have clear within one Force Time. Generally speaking, I don't play 0 turn as I don't think it's an efficient strategy in most cases. But I'll make an exception this time, considering I can bring up to 6 warriors I figured I might as well have some fun. Here's my take on the 0 turn clear using Lunafreya's Force and Burst phase to finish the fight. Enjoy! #dffoo #six #warriors
Team Composition and Substitutes Calls: - Lunafreya: mandatory for Yuffie, so she can be swapped out quickly. - Seymour/Jessie: used for delay. Bring any other delayer/deleter you have. Yuffie: no equipments + only basic crystal passives. Primary FR: Paine I picked Paine because the rest of the team all has level-based buff. So they synergized nicely with her FR conditions. She can be substituted to a different generic FR that you have, e.g. Penelo, Noctis, Twins, Squall, etc. Post-49% Cheese: Quina At 49% HP Gate, each enemy will do a full cleanse + full dispel. This normally means gimped damage from our party because of dispel but Quina BT doesn't care about all that. Maximum HP Damage all the way! I'd highly recommend bringing Quina here, so we don't have to waste time dealing with the 49% shenanigans. The Rest: Cor, Aerith, Balthier These three are basically Echo fodders! Pick three FR Echo characters that synergizes the most with your Primary FR user. Things to note: - if any of your FR/Echo is a ranged-type attack, then you don't have to worry about enemy getting to Force Time. Performing a Ranged FR while the enemies have six unframed debuffs will cancel it. - if you do not have a ranged FR, then bring a gauge charger to race the boss. Aerith/Sherlotta/Iris is a fantastic choice, because we can use their BT Phase to gauge charge too. Notable Fight Mechanics Threshold Attacks 100% - cleanses all debuffs (inflict 6+ unframed debuff to cancel stance) 79% - battery to 999,999 and defense up. The F2P Stunlock Required characters/items: - Arciela (recruit from her Lost Chapter) - Arciela's 35cp Defending Ring (trade from Token Shop) - Arciela at Crystal Lv 75 minimum (so she can equip calls) - Either Kurasame or Cater, at Crystal Lv 80 (no equipment needed) How it's done: at battle start, swap a character to Arciela. Arciela uses Kurasame/Cater base call, then use Descension. Refresh Descension whenever HP Disable expires on Turtle. Also use Descension when Lion gets into Force Time. Why it works: after dealing ice damage to turtle while retreated, it gets Pacified. But because it's already queueing an ALL attack, it will be stunlocked by HP Disable. It won't switch mode unless the debuff drops off. IMPORTANT: with only 14 turns of HP Disable, you do still need to bring good damage to close out the match! ALRIGHT, GUYS!! So this 6 Warrior fight was interesting, to say the least, and what's funny is that you kinda can't BT phase with most characters due to boss mechanics. So the right boss needs to be delayed to cancel the aura and you'll see that you need to do that multiple times during this fight. The boss on the left needs to be launched to cancel its aura because it makes all physical attacks miss which hurts Quistis especially if you have BOTH auras active then you're screwed unless you have a magic delayer call like Seymour. Other than the reductions and whatnot, this fight isn't too bad, you can carry Quistis with LD only if anything for ticket mission. My opinions on Quistis with her rework ain't too bad, more HP attacks in her skills with more splash dmg. Her EX now delays by 2 turns. Her FR conditions are easy to meet so long as you have her BT effect active so that way everyone on the team can delay by 1 turn which, talking about her BT, is a nice bonus for turn control and delays only when an attack hits! This BT effect delay is exactly like Quistis's ability to bypass any boss who doesn't allow themselves to be delayed which is awesome. It lasts a whopping 10 turns and during that time a large portion of your damage is negated. Much easier and definitely faster to trigger your force time first. Therefore the strat is simple - Set up buffs with WoL, Garnet and Auron - Swap WoL for your force gauge charger of choice and charge gauge to 100% - Swap WoL in and use his FR - Toggle Auto+ Setup Party 1 WoL (No call) Unequip EX skill Garnet (Jessie call) Unequip EX skill Auron (No call) Remove Banishing Blade Lite, Raring Spirit and Buff Attack Speed Up passives. Have you been pulling for FR Echoes? Time to flaunt them all in this mechanically-demanding fight! Setup inspired by 🤍AidaChannel Area 5 clear. Aida's run was one of the CLEANEST JP run I've seen of this stage that doesn't require crazy timing/setup. I modified the run to fit a Bronze character for ticket carry. Link to original video: 🤍 CHEESE OPTIONS: this stage can be cheesed with Quincia (Quina Ultimecia) combo. Bring off-turn damage via units like DKC or Paine BT for shorter runtime. Team Setup Passives Removed - Serah: [Break Speed Up], [Debuff Speed Up II] These are removed just to help Paine get the first turn. Core: 1. Paine BT+FR 5/5 UT Paine's generic FR is the primary driver of this strategy. When placed in rightmost position, she also offers a very potent +50% HP & BRV DMG Dealt Up. 2. Cid Raines BT+FR 5/5 UT The primary damage ST damage dealer. His goal in the team is to one-shot Heritage Golem from 30% to KO, to prevent the third shield from popping. Cid Raines can be substituted with Tifa + Raines LDCA. If using Tifa, make sure she's in the front at battle start, so she can get the Quick Prayer effect. 3. Sherlotta BT+FR 5/5 UT Gauge charger with an offensive/damaging FR Echo. Aerith MAY be an acceptable subtitute, but her non-attacking FR can be worrying. Extra: 1. Twins/Balthier bronze Placeholder for ticket mission. No equipment needed BUT if you have their FR Echo, then all the better. Both their Echoes are instant-turn attacks. Perfect fit for this strat. 2. Serah BT+FR 0/5 UT 3. Terra FR 5/5 UT Both of these slots are reserved for FR Echoes. You can sub them to other FR Echo chars you have, especially ones with maxed UT. Calls: 1. Faris for dispel and hogging enemy debuff slots. Can be subbed to Seymour, but you'll need Aerith LD debuff to prevent enemy from rebuffing. 2. I had it with these stupid mechanics man... so it's time to auto+ it with quincia!! Requirements: Ultimecia EX+ with UW unique 5/5 to make it faster. Quina BT to have maximum hp damage. Follow up unit (Cissnei/Cor/Kain or anyone similar to them) + alisaie LD CA to bypass 3x shields at threshold. Setzer LD rainbow and Lunafreya additional damage buff just to make follow up unit hits harder. And finally baltheir for shinryu ticket Challenge. I used some more for safety like raijin and aerith LD CAs because I don't know on what threshold the bosses will do. This took me exactly 2 hours and 45 minutes from the start until the very end... it may seems very long but it's 100% worth it as f2p player in jp. Btw this is a no boss turn + no summon + no FR run 😏😏😏
Quina's busted BT effect allows the team do deal maximum damage even if the party gets dispelled or deal less BRV DMG.
1 force time used, BT nuke phase, no boss turn, and a 3 man team! So this fight is absolutely DESTROYED by Tidus, Kain, and Sherlotta (mostly Tidus tho duhhh). The Dullahan is HANDS down the most deadly enemy in this fight so I advise to nuke it as soon as humanly possible. The infamous Area 5 - 6 Warrior Quest is approaching us!! This fight has loaded mechanics but we also have 6 warrior and 6 calls, time to utilizes all of them. 3 enemies all with 3 uniques Boss mechanics The big Ball (Protusion Sphere) is the one activating FR, but if it's dead then small ball will activate it instead. The FR effect is stop all Brv Gain and Boss will heal back 80% of all DMG received. The only way to cancel it is by dispelling and cleansing while dealing range dmg. (Balthier) The small Ball have a buff enhancement chip that reduces hp DMG taken and increases their offense. Bring dispel or stack them with 8 framed debuffs (not difficult, given that we have 6 calls) The BIG and SMALL ball will framed paralyze the party when Robot's shield is activated. (see below regarding the shields) The robot Now, this dude is the one that made the fight a nightmare. At 3 Hp threshold, 89% 59%, and 29% it will cast HP and BRV Shield, it is not a buff, so there is no way to prevent it. 50 M HP Shield. And 200k Brv Shield the first time, once broken, with cast a 300k Brv Shield, and 500k Brv shield for the last time. Breaking all 3 Brv shields will dispel the HP Shield. Unless you can deal 50 M dmg in one shot to break the HP Shield (which I am not sure only on the Golem or all 3 hp shield on all 3 bosses) If only on Golem, Enna Kros or Tifa might be able to shred it. I know Astos can but he is not in GL yet. Back to the shield, it is not easy to break the Brv shield as they have high non-elemental Brv dmg reduction when the shield is up and they absorb a bunch of elements too. 1st HP 1st Brv shield (absorb all EXCEPT Fire Lightning and Water) 2nd Brv Shield (absorb all EXCEPT Earth Ice) 3rd BRV shield absorbs all EXCEPT Earth Water) Strategy In this fight, first I stack 8 debuffs on the enemies so I don't have to worry about the small balls. Then I set up all my units and fast charge, I have to ensure balthier is in the main party when Boss activate their FR, as Balthier needs to cleanse to cancel their FR. Paine has generic FR and best when we are swapping units around, there is no need to worry if they can or cant meet the conditions. After Paine activates FR, Balthier comes in and Cancel Boss FR by using his Echo. Now I can also ignore the Big Ball. For the shield, 1st, Paine have to be in the party for me to built up the HP DMG Bonus, then Neon is my key unit here with Gau call, she enchant party with Fire and Gau enchant party with Earth, that fulfills all the elemental requirement to break the Brv shield. Then my 2nd key unit is Terra, she can hog turn, and since when the shield is up, I do not need high hp dumps since I won't be dealing HP DMG, so Terra uses S2 or LD to break the 200k and 300k shield. For the 500k shield, it is not enough for terra to break it so I use FR that has higher Brv Dmg limit to break the final shield. Now that I can deal dmg, I switch to my nukes Twin and Balthier to quickly bring them to the next threshold, then again, I use Terra to break the shield, and switch to my nukes and also use summon to quickly hit the final threshold, break the shield again and proceed to nuke them to death with remaining echoes.

If the enemies ended up activating their Force Time, it can be cancelled by using a Magic + Fire FR ability. It will work even when used as FR Echo.
