Hi everyone! I went on a small winter trip to Yamagata prefecture the other week. I've never seen so much snow in my life! I think this has been one of my favourite trips so far, Ginzan Onsen had been on my to-do list for a while, and it was absolutely magical to see it in person! For anyone (that is a foreigner) in Japan and planning a trip to the Tohoku area I recommend getting the JR east pass to travel. That's what I did for this trip, it's a 5-day pass with unlimited rides on the JR train, and for ¥20,000 I definitely think it was worth it :). Welcome to my final vlog as an unemployed person 😅 I finally went to visit more areas around Mt. Fuji! It's not that far but I never feel like bothering going because you can't predict the visibility well in advance and usually it's best in the early morning (and I am not a morning person hehe)! We rented a car and drove a little less than two hours each way to the Mt. Fuji area, but there are also lots of bus tours and such if you can't drive! I'm glad I can drive for things like this though because I enjoy having the freedom to do what I want and go where I want when I want to 😇 We went to Oshino Hakkai and the Chureito Pagoda! Have you been before? It was my first time to each!! Then a week later (because I got sick fmllll) I enjoyed my last day of freedom (?) by shopping with my friend in Harajuku and Shinjuku! Japan is finally open! Watch this travel vlog and guide for your next Tokyo trip 🇯🇵 Tokyo is one of the places I've been wanting to revisit. This time we didn't have a fixed itinerary which made the trip all the more fun and spontaneous. We were able to discover local restaurants, cafe hop and do lots of (window) shopping! We also explored Ginza and Shinjuku areas which I highly recommend aside from Shibuya which is often the first place you think of when visiting Tokyo. We also stayed in this amazing hotel in Shinjuku which had the best location and view of the city skyline.
